Creating an ad campaign on AdExtra is a simple and intuitive process. Follow these steps to set up your campaign:

  1. Start a New Campaign

In the Campaigns section, click the "Add Campaign" button to start the setup.

3. Enter Campaign Details

  • Title: Enter a name for your campaign to help identify it.

  • Link: Provide the destination URL where users will be directed when they interact with your ad. You can include macros for tracking:

    • {adid} – banner ID

    • {publisher} – publisher ID

    • {app} – application source ID

    • {cpc} – cost per click

    • {userid} – unique user ID

  • Operating System (OS): Select the OS for your ad targeting (Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS).

4. Select the Ad Format

Choose the most suitable ad format for your campaign:

  • Fullscreen Banner 320x480 – A large ad that covers most of the screen, ensuring high visibility and engagement. (This displays a full screen picture, so any CTAs and text just drawing into it can/should be done)

  • Native Fullscreen 300x250 – A full-screen ad that blends seamlessly with the app’s content, providing a non-disruptive user experience. (Image (320x250) + Title + description + CTA)

  • Strip Banner 320×50; 300х50; 320х50; – A small, non-intrusive banner placed at the top or bottom of the screen, ideal for maintaining user engagement while displaying ads.

  • Video – A high-impact video ad that captures user attention, great for brand awareness and engagement.

  • Offerwall Ads – A reward-based ad format where users interact with offers (such as app installs or surveys) in exchange for in-app rewards.

5. Set Your Pricing Model

  • Choose either:

    • CPM (Cost Per Thousand Impressions) – Enter the bid amount in dollars.

    • CPC (Cost Per Click) – Enter the bid amount in dollars.

6. Define Your Audience

  • GEO Targeting: Select the country where you want your ads to appear (e.g., US).

  • Carrier Targeting: Choose whether to target specific mobile carriers or select "All Carriers" for broader reach.

  • Device Language: Select the languages of the devices or leave it as "ALL".

  • OS Version: Specify particular OS versions if needed, or select "ALL".

7. Define Budget and Frequency Settings

  • Total Limit ($): Set the overall budget for your campaign.

  • Frequency: Define how often users will see your ad to avoid overexposure.

8. Optimization (Optional)

The optimization settings allow you to fine-tune your ad campaign based on your goals.

  • Blacklist & Whitelist

    • Choose either a blacklist or a whitelist.

    • The blacklist contains platforms or audiences where you do not want your ads to appear.

    • The whitelist includes only the platforms or audiences where your ads are allowed to be displayed.

    • Enter the values in the corresponding fields using the format: PXXXXXXXXX, AXXXXXXXXX.

  • Randomize Creatives

    • Check the Randomize Creatives box if you want to rotate different ad creatives randomly.

    • This can help test multiple ad variations and determine the most effective ones.

  • Schedule Impressions

    • Use the time grid to set specific time slots for displaying your ads.

    • The horizontal axis represents hours (0–23), while the vertical axis represents days of the week (M – Monday, T – Tuesday, etc.).

    • Click on the desired time slots to enable or disable ad impressions.

Once you’ve configured the optimization settings, click "Save Upload Image / Create Ad" or "Save" to apply your changes.

9. Upload Your Ad Image

Once you’ve configured the optimization settings, click "Save Upload Image / Create Ad" or "Save" to proceed. A window will appear prompting you to upload an image for your ad.

  • Drag & Drop: You can drag and drop image files directly into the upload area.

  • Browse: Click the "Browse" button to select an image from your device.

7. Launch Your Campaign

🎉 Congrats on the launch!

Once your campaign passes moderation, its status will change to "Ready to start."

When launched, the campaign will become active and start displaying to network users, provided your balance is positive.

After launching, you'll soon have access to campaign analytics.
